  • Luxury SUV? NOT! - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Lexus calls this a "Luxury SUV." WRONG. Ive owned many luxury autos and this isnt one of them. I tried to adjust but I just sold it with 2475 miles on the odometer. Cost me money, I hated this car! The reliability and build quality are some of the best but it rode like a cattle truck and the ergonomic design was stupid. Humans were intended to occupy this thing. The worst placement of some controls that Ive ever seen. If you need to access a 12v outlet for a cell charger, etc., do it while stopped because you cant while moving. You have to remove two compartment covers and stand on your head to get to it. My son owns one a bit older and its a great car. The 2010 redesign was a bust.

  • New 2010 RX 350 - Lots of Initial defect - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I have had my 2010 RX 350 for about 4 months now. In total, I have gone back 5 times for 3 different defects on the new model. I have had Navigation, A/C Radio problems (which all have TSBs issued by Lexus now). Not to mention the exterior defect of the driver side bumper I now have, due to wind damage from long distance driving. The front corner bumper is "popping" out of place every time I go on long drives. Im going to have to wait until the next time I go in for service to have it checked out, Im tired of driving loaners and paying for a new car. Overall, I am very disappointed that Lexus would send a car out on the road with so many problems.

  • A Canadian built Toyota - 2010 Lexus RX 350

Smooth yet dull ride. Way way overpriced for what it is. Canadian built .

  • Lexus Quality? - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Been owned 01 mdx, 05 rx, 07 ml350,08 x5, and 09 gl450. Right now Im leasing 08 911 turbo and have 07 Prius. Ive been owned so many cars from all models of Honda to Ferrari f430. What happen to Lexus! They are increasing price with low-end quality material! Feel and look cheap plastic interior, uncomfortable seat (Im 510" n 185 lb). 2005 rx was much better! Thank god were leasing this car.

  • New 2010 RX 350 - Lots of Systems Problems - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

My new 2010 RX 350 started off great. This good feeling lasted about 2 months until my first technical problem. Since the new Navi/radio system is so intricate and connected to everything, Ive had problems with the climate controls, Navitraffic, XM Satellite radio and HUD display. Im in shock. I thought Lexus quality stood for more. Well, my car has been back to the dealer 4 times, each visit averaging 3 days. Every time, the same story, we need to research this, we are unfamiliar with the new systems. I think I should have waited until they had gotten the bugs out. How frustrating my new car experience has been. Be forewarned.

  • Nav System + Cup Holder + Heated Seats - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

NAV System volume is too low even on loudest setting. Dealer agrees but doesnt know how to fix it. The left side cup holder is useless. It is positioned too close to the drivers door so you cannot grab a cup unless you grab from the top. The heated seats do not get very warm. The 2007 electric heated seats were far superior to the hot air heated seats of the 2010. Overall, not very satisfied yet.

  • Who makes up these changes? - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I just dont understand how some of these changes make it out of engineering. Coming from 2005RX, the two buttons I press the most everyday are now 5 times smaller. The temperature buttons are like little pin size buttons compared to what was normal in RX. The stereo volume knob is 3 times smaller. Is bigger always better? The auto-close button on the hatch, smaller. Glovebox - smaller. I noticed in the 2005, the felt was "plusher" than in the 2010. The rack on the roof - GRAY on a black car? It should be the same color. Who makes these decisions? Joystick control on NAV systems is not as easy to use as just pressing your finger exactly what you want - especially the keyboard.

  • Wish I had my old one - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Traded my 2000 for this one. The 2010 has a very stiff truck like ride. The seats are hard and uncomfortable and there are many rattles all around. I prefer my 2010 Tundra, the ride and quiet exceed this Canadian attempt at a Lexus.

  • First and probably last - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I bought this car fully loaded. I would not consider the stereo system to be premium. I feel the car leans too much on turns. On a highway, you can feel every bump in the road and I feel the ride is jittery and tosses you from left to right as you travel. Too much engine noise when car downshifts. Not expected in a luxury car.

  • LOUD engine acceleration noise - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

This 2010 RX350 is my third RX and will probably be my last. The first 2 (2004 RX330 and 2007 RX350) were whisper quiet when accelerating. The 2010 roars like my 2007 just before the tranny died.
